Artics help create city beach!
As restrictions begin to lift around COVID-19, events are finally able to take place. This summer, “London’s Wonderland” is opening and will be home to outdoor bars, street food, live music, fairground rides, family activities and London’s city beach.
The project.
A delivery of sand was required to help create London Wonderlands city beach. Over the course of two days our Artics delivered sand to the site where Earls Court Exhibition Centre used to be. We worked with the site manager and the event organisers to manage the deliveries alongside the other event activities.
We had four of our Artic Tippers on site transporting the sand, with each vehicle having a load capacity of about 30 tonnes.
We wish Underbelly and the Earls Court Development Company all the best for their summer event. It is free to enter so why not pop along, listen to the music, take a towel and sunbathe on the glorious sandy beach!
