Text Box: GRABS Our grab lorry service can provide an economical solution to your waste-disposal requirements. If you leave the waste in a heap in an area accessible by a lorry, our grab-lorries can remove it efficiently and quickly just when you're ready. They can also bring in the exact quantities of aggregate/material, placing it just where you need it. Our grab lorries take approximately 15-30 minutes to load.

Precautions to take before a grab lorry arrives…

You must ensure that there are no vehicles parked in the way or overhead obstructions such as telephone cables, power lines, tree branches, etc. If there are, warn the driver as it may not be safe to operate the crane. The height required to pass under is 3.8 metres, and to operate the grab another 2 metres should be allowed.

Make sure that the waste is within reach of where the lorry will be positioned. The lorry will also need to have a stabilising leg lowered on each side of the vehicle and Pads may be needed to prevent damage to the road surface.
